MatISSE paper selected as best 2017 paper in the Journal of Nuclear Materials

The paper, “Microstructure characterization and strengthening mechanisms of oxide dispersion strengthened (ODS) Fe-9%Cr and Fe-14%Cr extruded bars”, with authors Chauhan, A.; Bergner, F.; Etienne, A.; Aktaa, J.; de Carlan, Y.; Heintze, C.; Litvinov, D.; Hernandez-Mayoral, M.; Oñorbe, E.; Radiguet, B.; and Ulbricht, A., has been selected by the editors of Journal of Nuclear Materials as the best paper published in 2017 in the journal.

This paper corresponds to the results of the wp3 of the MatISSE project, which is part of the portfolio of the EERA-JPNM.

The recipient of the award is invited to deliver a plenary lecture at NuMat 2018 in Seattle, on the final day of the conference (18 October 2018): https://www.elsevier.com/events/conferences/the-nuclear-materials-conference

Many congratulations on this achievement – there were nearly 600 papers to choose from for the award.
